Beatrice von Babel is a flexible organism composed of artists, musicians, dancers, poets collaborating with a multitude of artist friends, individuals and institutions in performing painting and complex art-sound-movement installations.

BvB is at home in Düsseldorf, Bucharest and Venice. The involved artists meet, perform and work in progress in their studios and in on-and off-spaces. Transforming precarious twilight situations into joyous artistic mystery, Beatrice von Babel keeps questioning the imposed order, the hierarchies of perception and general expectations.

Conventions ask for exceptions. Creative chaos, individual inspiration, reversed order correspond to the atypical, surprisingly fruitful collaboration of different to opposite autonomous artists.
